RECENT READS

I posted this on my Facebook page Sunday, but I figured it would be good to share here, too.

I thought I'd start sharing what I've recently read/am currently reading on here. (When it comes to reading, I can be very scatterbrained, so I'll be sharing things from all types of genres. One week it might be a thriller, another week it might be a celebrity memoir.)

First, in the spirit of full disclosure, I've taken one self-publishing course from Mark Dawson already (tagging so you can check out his page if you like), and I just started the second one. He is brilliant at marketing, and I have learned so much from him already. But I wanted to check out his work, too. I recently read his short story 1000 Yards. It's the first thriller I've ever read, and I think I might have found a new genre I love! I'm officially hooked. (Maybe I'll even write one of my own down the road?) This is a short story, so it's a very quick read, but it gives you a taste for his main character and what his full-length novels are about. It might be brief, but there's plenty of action. I really enjoyed it.

If you want to check it out, you can grab it for free on Amazon (http://amzn.to/2npoHch) or at his website at www.markjdawson.com where you can also get access to other free books by signing up to his mailing list.

Great news! I have finished editing Fate Surrendered and am working on getting it ready to send off to my ARC team! I am really looking forward to getting it out there and getting feedback on it. It's been so much fun to write. There is much more action in this one, and the stakes get even higher, but there's plenty of sweet romance, too.

Now, it's time to get started on the third and final book in the series, Fate Reclaimed.
I am *so* close to being done with Fate Surrendered, the second book in my series. I'm just giving it one final pass before I send it off to my ARC (Advance Reader Copy) team this week. If you are interested in joining my ARC team, there's still time. Just send me an email asking to join the team in order to receive a copy before it's available on Amazon and other e-retailers. I'm planning to officially release the book at the end of April.

I am very happy with how Book 2 has turned out. I'm a little nervous to put it out there, but I really feel like this one is even better than the first. I hope readers will agree! I guess we'll find out in the next month or so! 🙂
