I am so excited to share that my YA medieval fantasy romance Fate Abandoned is now available on Amazon and all other major e-retailers. I have about 15,000 words written so far for the second book in the series, Fate Surrendered. I hope to have that ready for publication by late Spring. I'm having a blast writing it. I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't read the first in the series yet, but I will say that things get much darker, and the stakes get higher. It's going to be a real page-turner!

In the meantime, I'm doing what I can to really dive into the nuts and bolts of the marketing side of things. I hope to make 2017 the year that my books take off. I am excited to see where hard work and dedication takes me.
Happy reading!

The ebook of Fate Abandoned is now available to read for free on InstaFreebie (https://www.instafreebie.com/free/U4NRn) or by signing up for my mailing list. You'll also get a free sample of Stellix, along with the exclusive bonus material. Of course, if you don't want to sign up for a mailing list or you prefer to read a paperback, you can always purchase it at Amazon directly.

In other news, I'm working hard to get the second book in the series, Fate Surrendered, ready to release sooner than later. I'm about 10,000 words in so far, so nearly a fifth of the way based on how I'm estimating the length to be for this one. Not bad since the "official" launch of Fate Abandoned isn't until the end of the month! I have to admit that I'm really excited about this second book. In general, I always worry that series tend to derail the further they go. But I think this second book might be better than the first. It gets darker, and the stakes get higher. I'm having a lot of fun writing it, and I can't wait to get it out there!

Good Afternoon, Readers!

I'm sorry it's been so long since I've updated this blog. I've been using whatever free time I've had to finish editing Fate Abandoned. I am very pleased to announce that the paperback will be available on Amazon soon. If you still want to read the ebook version for free before it goes live on Amazon at the end of the month, send me an email and I'll be happy to send you a copy so that you can join my launch team.
In other news, I've also been working on writing Fate Surrendered, which is the second book in the series. I'm really liking how it's shaping out so far. It might even be better than the first! I am hesitant to put a deadline on when it will be ready, but hopefully sometime in spring.

Good Morning, Readers!

I just wanted to give a quick update. I've been doing another round of edits and have passed the halfway point. Hooray! I hope to have this round finished by the end of the week. Then all that's left is going through a proof copy of the paperback!

Don't forget that there is still time to join my launch team. If you're interested, send me an email and I will send you an electronic copy of FATE ABANDONED for free *before* it is released.
Thank you for all of the support!

Good Evening, Readers!

I thought I should post a little update on my writing/editing progress. Sadly, it's not as much as I would like to report. That cold I mentioned getting over last week came right back later that same day. Plenty of days with a sore throat and stuffy nose later (all while taking care of a sick little one, too), I am happy to share that I'm much better and getting back into the swing of writing and editing. I can't remember ever having such a long-lasting cold before. I was sick for two weeks – and I'm still not at 100% (here's praying it goes away for good this time!).
Right now I'm focusing my efforts on doing another edit of Fate Abandoned so that *hopefully* I can still meet my target release date. It's not the end of the world if I end up pushing it back, but I'm very deadline-driven, and it drives me crazy not to meet a deadline.
I hope everyone else's new year is off to a healthier start than mine has been! Here's hoping all of our dreams come true this year.
